Solutions application's back office
(accounting and distribution) offerings. The fact that the
accounting and the Horizons tools are all
written in the same language eliminates the
usual problem of "third party integration" and
the hesitancy of customers to engage in more
than one vendor's products to solve their
software needs. Integration is not an issue as
the Microsoft Business Solutions and Horizons
product mix acts as one solution, with similar
screens and data handling that is actually
held "within" the Microsoft Business Solutions
accounting package. There is no import or
export of data as it is the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains)
dictionary that is the controlling entity.
