The TM Group bestows honors on three clients during its 7th Annual Client Conference -- Vision 2004

The TM Group held its annual Vision conference for Microsoft Business Solutions clients in February at The Palace of Auburn Hills, a TM Group client. The full-day event featured speakers from over 15 MBS Developers, TM Group personnel and Microsoft Corporation. Highlights of the day included a morning keynote speech on Teamwork and Leadership, presented by Tom Wilson, President of Palace Sports & Entertainment, and an afternoon keynote from Brad Rozen, Microsoft Business Productivity Advisor. Over 15 sessions were held including a Product Requirements session sponsored by Microsoft Business Solutions where clients listen to new product directions and offer input for future product features.

Over 120 clients attended the event, and were treated to a variety of software and infrastructure topics. "This is the best event of its kind for our clients, and we were thrilled with the quality of our audience and our sponsors", said Scott Thomas, TM Group President & CEO.

A favorite portion of the event is the presentation of the annual Vision awards. This year’s recipients were:

    • Quicken Loans/Rock Financial Corporation - Sponsorship Award
    • Palace Sports & Entertainment - Innovation Award
    • Walters Gardens - Vision Award for Overall Excellence

The Sponsorship Award is presented to clients that have demonstrated a strong commitment to their Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) solution and The TM Group. These clients not only evangelize Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) business management solutions to our clients and prospects, but also are a source of continuous feedback on Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) solutions and services. Rock Financial/Quicken Loans has been a TM Group client for over 17 years. They have provided countless references to new business prospects for TM as well as continuing to rely on our solutions and staff. We are extremely proud of our partnership with their team.

The Innovation Award recognizes customers whose innovative use of technology within their business management system delivers measurable benefits to their organization. Candidates for this award are judged on creativity, vision, and the overall results and benefits of their implementation. Palace Sports & Entertainment, partnering with The TM Group, has created a totally new environment for their financial, accounting and sales teams that will assist them in being much more productive and automated than ever before. They have made use of Microsoft Business Solutions technology in order to provide a tight link between Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) and Microsoft Office to seamlessly create contracts. They were also instrumental in helping create an innovative way to manage their inventory of seats, suites and signage and give visibility of inventory availability to their sales and marketing teams, automated for the first time ever;

The winner of the overall Vision Award was presented to Walters Gardens, a Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) client who recognized the strong value the product and TM bring to their company, and created innovative and very creative ways to manage their use of the system. They have shown tremendous partnership both with The TM Group and with QBD Systems, the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) developer chosen to assist with tailoring the system to meet Walters’ needs. Troy Schumaker, Walters Gardens Controller, prepared and presented a session for other TM clients at Vision to illustrate the value brought to them by Microsoft Dynamics GP (Formerly Great Plains) and the customizations that they envisioned. They have had a positive attitude throughout their implementation, and have worked tirelessly as advocates of both our company and our solution. The Vision Award recognizes overall excellence in all areas of promoting our products and services.

These awards recognize the tremendous achievements made by our clients through their implementation of Microsoft Business Solutions products, and reward the great way they have worked with and for The TM Group to further our name in the community.
